Natasha Russell

Natasha became a physio because she loves working with people to help them move and live with less pain.  She moved to the area in 2001 to begin her physiotherapy studies at CSU Albury and fell in love with the area.  Working primarily in private practice ever since,  Natasha’s roles have included being dedicated to helping pregnant and post-natal mums with pregnancy-related back and pelvic pain.  She joined the team at Personal Best Physiotherapy in 2017 and works 3 days a week at the practice.

Natasha has completed postgraduate courses in the field of pregnant and postnatal musculoskeletal pain (pain arising from the muscles, joints, ligaments and other soft tissues).   Natasha really enjoys working with these patients as she can produce some wonderful changes to quality of life through treatment.  She is now studying for her formal APA Titling qualifications in Continence and Women’s Health.

She treats:

  • Bowel and bladder incontinence,
  • Bladder urgency,
  • Pelvic organ prolapse,
  • Persistent pelvic pain (including endometriosis, Interstitial cystitis, vaginismus, vulvodynia),
  • Pregnancy related back pain
  • Postnatal pelvic floor and abdominal muscle rehabilitation,
  • Musculoskeletal pain (wrist, back and neck pain).

When not at work, you may find Natasha, her husband and 2 boys hiking around the mountains or Nordic walking around Albury.  You may also find her with a nose in a book soaking up the sunshine on a nice day, scouring the library shelves for the next find or getting her hands dirty in the garden.
