Small Group Strength Classes at Personal Best
If you answered YES to any of these questions, our small group strength classes might be for you!
This class is designed specifically for people over 60 to safely improve bone, muscle and joint strength over time. We use your bodyweight, light weights and some basic equipment to challenge you under the watchful eye of a physiotherapist.
Key Features of our Small Group Strength Classes:
- A maximum of 6 participants means your exercise form is monitored EVERY week. This helps to make sure you are completing your exercises safely and effectively.
- The physio keeps a record of your weights and exercises so you don’t have to, and makes recommendations on these as you get stronger over time.
- A positive group environment provides just the right mix of motivation, accountability and good humour!
- No floor exercises! (so you don’t have to get on or off the floor)
- Modification of an exercise or movement pattern to suit you and your injury history, allowing you to participate in a way that works for you.
- A modern, bright gym space overlooking our garden – its just a lovely space to complete a workout in!
