Move, Feel and Live Better

We know from asking our past and present patients that getting you moving better, both in the short and long-term, is important to you.  Our first priority is often to reduce your pain and get you moving freely, but it doesn’t end there:  We love working with our patients to help restore or improve strength as well as return to the activities that are important to you.  We work hard to understand not just your injury or problem but you as a person, your goals and any barriers to recovery.  This gives you the best shot at getting better and returning to your normal activities, pain-free.

What to expect at your Initial Appointment

In your Initial Appointment we follow Six Steps to make sure we get a handle on all of the issues that can affect your recovery.  First, we enquire about your problem – how did it come about, how is it impacting you and what are your goals for treatment?  This leads to assessment where we identify key impairments in the body and pull these findings together to give you a clear diagnosis.  Next comes treatment, using targeted hands-on techniques and exercises to begin the healing process.  We then give you some homework and finally put together a plan that shows you your path to recovery.  We summarise all of this information in a clear, written Treatment Plan for you, so you know exactly what to do before you return for you second visit.
