With the recent developments of COVID-19 my days have become even busier!  We have always maintained a high standard of infection control in the clinic but we have ramped this up over the past two months.  I am regularly cleaning all high-touch surfaces throughout the day including door handles, chairs, front desk surfaces and our payment terminal (EFTPOS machine).

I have been keeping a close eye on billing for Telehealth appointments.  Patients who are under Workcover, TAC and DVA are now eligible for Telehealth consults.  At this stage most Private Health funds have come on board but some do have specific conditions that need to be met.  It is best to check with your health fund if you are eligible to claim.

With all our therapists changing their days and hours of treating patients Racquel and I have had to spend a lot of time rescheduling patients to fit in with our new diary.  Currently we have only two therapists treating on any given day to reduce the amount of traffic in and out of the clinic.  Our goal at the moment is to have no more than two people in the waiting room at any given time.  Appointments are staggered for each therapist, so one might be seeing patients on the hour/half hour and the other will see patients on the quarter-past/quarter-to times.  If you arrive early for your appointment please wait in your car until your appointment time.
