I have sourced a high quality training program on hip pain that our team will be working their way through over the next few months. Hip pain is one of the most common problems we see, so it’s a good opportunity to top up our skills with the latest wisdom and research on common and not so common hip problems. I’m looking forward to it!
After Pete returned to his teaching role at Charles Sturt University a few months back we’re on the lookout for a passionate physiotherapist to join our team. There is a video on our Facebook page with some more information about the position. If you know a physio who is hungry to learn, wants to work in a close knit team and is looking to establish themselves in our region, send them to our FaceBook page, or pass my email on to them:
I have been implementing some new techniques and exercises I learnt from a course in August on treating neck and upper back pain. Already I’ve been seeing some great results and it’s been nice giving patients some exercise progressions to work towards their goals. In the next few weeks I’ll be completing some additional training related to hip conditions which will be invaluable given how common hip pain is amongst our patients.
